Literature Text

I'll never forget
The late night walks way 'cross town
All the time spent at that Wal-Mart
I think we could have lived there

You don't know what that meant
When my life had had me down
I wish I could just push restart
And go back to where we were

But with you gone
It feels wrong
To try and move on
And let go of those years

New Year's Eve at Lance's
Playing Rock Band, drinking Dews
And talking in the sun room
About the zombie invasion

We'd take so many chances
We were never afraid to lose
Somehow we had groomed
A flawless situation

But with you gone
It feels wrong
To try and move on
And let go of those years

I see it all from this dashboard view
So vivid, so alive, so true
structure:

written for this bad that i'm in: [link] if you have a myspace, friend us. you'll be able to hear this on an ep soon enough.

pretty sure the song is self-explanatory, but if i must explain, it's about missing two of my pals that decided to go out to california (you know who you are), and it feels weird to be maturing without them around (i know, it's hard to believe i'm maturing). but, there it is. :peace:

oh, and the title's an inside joke.
